Somehow… it is the end of July already. ???

Since returning from blissful vacation, I have:
- been sicker than a dawg (stupid mass transportation + recycled air)
- learned of the passing of an old friend to our nemesis, Leukemia
- nearly lost my dog but later found her napping peacefully under a bush

Post-vacation blues have been rough… Good thing I’m going on vacation again in a week. Whew!

We visited Pamplona this morning… they are getting ready for San Fermin 2008, which is the running of the bulls for the year. It´s occurring on July 6, which means that preparation is in full swing all over town. Every single store front is swathed in red and white, with lots of bloody stuffed bulls hanging all over the place too… really cute in a morbid way. They have also started putting up the wooden walls that mark the path the bulls are supposed to take, and we were THIS close to seeing the actual bulls, but the stupid town went into siesta right then. We sure smelled those bulls though, from a bajillion yards away. Stinky bull butt.

Both Kevin and I are forgetting how to speak English. We talk like cavemen now.
