You think you know a person. You share joys and pains, hopes and disappointments. You smile when you see them, and cry when it’s time to say goodbye. You think about them fondly and wish them good things. You find out that you’ve been a damn fool and you didn’t know them at all.

Ok this is random, but guess what I found stuck to my butt last night. And by “stuck to my butt”, I mean inside my pants, stuck to the skin.
Is it my expiration date?!?!?! I swear all day/evening long I thought I had some kind of weird personal hygiene issue. Or butt-crabs or something. I’m so confused.

I had a really wonderful birthday. My family took me out to a dinner of the best Chinese food ever the night before (yum!). On the morning of, I had pancakes and crepes with friends, and then shopped myself silly with ubiquitous birthday discounts - it must be a sign that I’m getting old, that the item that excited me most was a bottle of sweet chili sauce *sigh*. The night brought delicious grilled meats as 20 of my closest friends gathered for Korean BBQ and karaoke - I wanted the boys to serenade me with “She” by Elvis Costello, but nobody knew it so I had to sing it to myself. Another sign that I’m old? 
On my last birthday, I was feeling anxious about approaching the scary age without having my life in order. This year, I am at peace. I finally feel like an adult. Now, I wonder where I can buy a baby…. hahaha. Um, just kidding Mom..

Woops! I’ve been really sick, and honestly I think I may have left part of my brain on the beaches of Hawaii.
Let’s start with a story. Yesterday, I woke up at 6:30am. Lacking anything interesting to do, I ate an entire bag of Skittles. By 8am, I was a wreck - my legs were quivering and my hands were shaking. Taste the rainbow my ass.
Ummm, my building is being evacuated for bomb threat. Kgottagothxbai.
