Can’t believe an entire month has passed.  I still have to post pictures from a very memorable night at the Common concert, those are still to come.. don’t give up on me yet!

I gave my plant a haircut last night.  I hope it’s ok… like cutting fingernails.  And not cutting limbs.

So Thanksgiving has come and gone.  I have much to be thankful this year - won’t go into it all because the truly sappy holidays are still ahead of us.  I hosted a post-Thanksgiving dinner at my home with close friends and it was a very warm and fuzzy time for me.  feasted on Turducken and lots of delicious sides, and then we trimmed my Christmas tree and sat around being happy.  It was very cosy and intimate, even though there were 20 people over.  My heart sang when someone who was visiting my home for the first time walked in the door and announced “your place is so homey!!!”  I have achieved my perfection.

There is a gnat who lives in my office.  I can’t seem to kill him.  So I started feeding him.  And I named him Harold.

Whew, time to come up for some air and maybe a blog post

Had a lovely Halloween with many many lovely parties. I was dressed as an acid fairy:

Did the Shimmy with the Scream, got burgled by McBurglar, did a line with Snoop and had drinks with an overly large pink Care Bear. Ah, the life of an acid fairy!

Also had a very grand poker night complete with midnight Turducken (YUM), which sadly didn’t last through the first round even. Must do again, this time with shoulder pads on and elbows out. A few days ago, we went to see Common in concert at Love… we got there super early and were able to snag standing-room-only seats right up against the stage! Amazing stuff - I’ll post some pics and stories about it later.

For now, must work! It’s already been 3 weeks at this new job, can you believe it???
