i heart sticky bombs

It’s 3am the morning after my birthday.
I don’t know how I got to be so blessed with such wonderful friends. More phone calls and messages and emails than I could have expected in my wildest dreams, all to send wishes that my special day is indeed special. Lovely gifts and cards that are so personal and so thoughtfully crafted that I will keep them forever. Friends who go out of their way to plan a lovely dinner for me, complete with delicious cheesecake for dessert (how did you know???), and entertain me afterwards at my whim. Special thanks to BB for sportingly taking a jab up the butt to give me a gutbusting laugh to start off my year. Although, I’m wondering if you secretly enjoyed it? 
Thank you, all, for making me feel so loved. I couldn’t imagine my life without you, and only hope that when you sleep tonight, you feel the same peace and joy that I do at this moment.
